I have recently rotated the tyres on my FL1. Front left to back right and back left to front right, I did this after 10,000 k's on a brand new set of Coopers 225/5SR17 97T CS4. My question is (and I probably already know the answer) on the next rotation do I go front to back and back to front, because if I go diagonal again the tyres are back in the original spots??????????
Oh, nearly forgot, I did not include the spare as it is an original LandRover 15" wheel not a 17" as are the other wheels!!!

Would say back to front without the diagonal crossover.

However, My 1st Freelander (we've had two) just used to eat front tyres so by the time the fronts are worn I'd probably just swap them out for new ones and put the best two of the original four on the back.

According to the handbook of my FL2, tyres should not be rotated.  So I reckon that is two sets on the front to one set on the rear!

Due to only 40% of the drive going to the rear, so any replacements should go on rear, to take a little pressure of the vcu and ird, but if the tread is greatly different between new a old tyres (a couple of mm) then its replace all 4,  ignoring this has just cost me an ird, won't make that mistake again
