a question, whats the best mpg you can get out of a v8 land rover now days what with all the electronics on them, years a go all you had was carbs then they bough out ecu with lambda sensors to run it all, so im on a quest to find out your best v8 mpg. so let me know your v8 engine size and its mpg,ta.

Our 4.6 automatic averages 17mpg or thereabouts in mixed driving. On a motorway run, maybe 20-22.

My mums 4.0 lpg'd late p38, says 13 on the computer, but we've figured it out on the LPG to cost slightly less than the 300tdi disco 1. So 30 ish equivalent?

Mine used to be thirsty, possibly due to the way I drove it, LPG 10MPG Petrol 14MPG on a run in the high 20s

My 3.9 classic: 10mpg on gas, 13mpg petrol, driven hard, motorway and A road  commute.
